It is NOT a joke! We have a walker and a talker! Today, Derek walked without us propping him up. He just decided to stand on his own and walk, walk, walk! He is able to say exactly 20 words at the moment and can do about 5 to 8 signs. He definitely is not an introvert like Ric and me. He will be doing ALL the talking for us in the near future. He practiced talking on the phone by calling 911 last week...Thank goodness they called back before sending anyone to the house. I was super embarrassed. I'm sure we have many more exciting adventures in the future with our little angel!!!

Hey guys. Found a good mind bender for Ric (this is unrelated to your blog ... I just thought of him when I saw this).
What's wrong with the following proof:
Given:
a = b
Then (algebra steps in parenthesis):
a^2 = ab (multiply by a)
a^2 - b^2 = ab - b^2 (subtract b^2)
(a + b)(a - b) = b(a - b) (factor)
a + b = b (divide by (a - b))
2*b = b (substitude a = b)
2 = 1 (divide by b)
Which step is wrong?
