I'm sorry it has been so long since I last wrote and posted pictures of our awesome son! We have been busy in the garden, watching our flowers grow. Derek enjoys pulling weeds and watering the plants whenever he can. His most favorite activity these days is trying to catch white butterflies. Nothing gets in his way... He has pure "tunnel vision" when he chases them!
Derek is talking up a storm and wants to know what everything is. He says (none-stop at times), "What's that, Mama?" And he wants to know the name of every type of car on the road. This will be "lots of fun" when we travel to CA beginning tomorrow after I return from work!!! We are visiting the area because my sister, Summer, will be getting married in my parent's backyard June 7! We are looking forward to this very special event. Pray Derek enjoys the drive as much as we do!

Wow!! Derek is so adorable! What a character. I can't believe how much he has grown. It looks like you guys have a wonderful life with him. All is well with us. We are having a blast with Kendal too. They just grow and change so much and it's amazing! I'd love to talk with you sometime once the munchkins are in bed.

Derek is so damn cute. I love you guys so much. I enjoyed all the time we spent together. Chris is so honor to gain such a great: sister, brother and nephew. We thank you so much for our gift. We did not expect anything. Your family was our gift.
