Derek is now a month old! He loves talking to mom and dad after waking up in the morning and enjoys his favorite toy - a dog puppet from Aunt Sandy! He is now tracking us with his eyes and smiling and cooing a great deal when he is doing this. He has been on many drives and walks with us. He is getting used to being changed with rarely a tear shed! Pictures are coming soon of Derek! Please be patient as we learn more about our new camera!

I would love to take credit for the dog puppet, but truth be told, the puppet was one of Katie's contributions. I'll make sure that she knows that he loves it when I see her this weekend. Headed to Ashland, but will be back in town for Monday night. Katie will be flying home on the 23rd (Next Thursday) to see Tracy's show, the fabulous Derek & hopefully meet Ric's Mom. So watch out, she'll be stalking you once again!
