Merry Christmas from the Matthies' Family! What an incredible year we have had with the new addition to our family, Derek Von Matthies! We have enjoyed him so much and cherish every moment we have with our little guy. January 13 we will have a one year old! We look forward to spending many many more wonderful years with Derek! Well, here he is! Next month he will be a year old. We can't believe it! Derek is now saying "ball", "hot", "bird", "mama", "papa", and "bath." He is so funny! Derek enjoys copying our laugh, sounds, etc. He is not walking, but is cruising from sofa to chair. It is a joy to see how much he can do. We just LOVE him so much!
