We have been having tons of fun in the snow. It hasn't let up for quite sometime. Here is a video of Derek's first solo sled ride. (I was a bit nervous.)

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from the Matthies Family!

Last night we signed the final papers for our new home! We are thrilled to have found such a beautiful place to live in the North End! Our "half flat" is 1450 square feet, which was built in 1908 by a famous architect in Tacoma. It has two huge bedrooms, one bath, a larger kitchen than our previous one, and much much more! We will be moving in slowly for the next two weeks... It feels like a dream come true!

It's snowing! Derek adores the snow and wants to spend as much time as he can in it!

We received a bit of sad news on December 1. The four-plex we have lived in since we moved from CA will no longer be our home as of February 1, 2009. The new owners will be moving in, and we'll have to find a new place to live...
