We have some new pictures of our little guy who is just over 3 & 1/2 months old and is now turning over all by himself. Here he is meeting Solenne for the first time, the Ferry's new addition to the family. Isn't she a doll? They are almost exactly 8 weeks apart. Derek tried hard to say hello. He kept grabbing her hand and sucking it. I guess we should teach him not to do this when meeting someone for the first time!

Spring has sprung! Happy Easter everyone! We love you all !

The change is amazing! We are in awe of what babies go through in their first year. No wonder why they sleep so much!

It can't be true! Derek is now 3 months old! When parents say the time when their kids are babies goes by super fast, they aren't kidding! It is truly amazing to see how much he has grown in all areas! It is a blast taking care of him and learning about his personality.

Yesterday I received a letter I have been waiting a long time for...I am officially off for the rest of the school year and summer! I am TRULY THANKFUL to have the opportunity to stay home and really take care of our son! Words cannot express how happy I am! YES!!!

Ric got a bit hungry! Does Derek taste of chocolate? One would think!

Isn't he the cutest!

Derek is just over 11 weeks old in these pictures! He is such a fun little guy who loves to talk and talk. Guess what else he can do? He pulls up his legs, then rolls himself over on his side. Oh No, he's getting mobile!!!

I know these photos look a bit odd! They were taken yesterday by a laptop computer in a not so lit room! What amazing technology we have! Ric chose the sepia format, but you can do all kinds of fun things using the program. We'll see if we can experiment more in the near future! (This is Sandy's new toy!!!) Those in the photos you can't see well are Ric, Tif, and Uncle Chris!

All is well with our family. Being a parent is exhausting and rewarding at the same time! We feel like we're getting better, but still have a TON to learn! I guess it is a lifetime of learning...
