DEREK IS THE BIG ONE YEAR OLD!!! We can't believe the day has finally arrived. Derek had a family birthday party where we served approximately 30 people dinner. People came from as far away as California. He was surrounded by loved ones and was spoiled completely! He loved his first cake, decorated with some of his favorite items. We are SUPER lucky to have Derek in our lives. He is an AMAZING soul!

Derek is officially a year old! Wow, he has changed a great deal! What an awesome, yet challenging experience it has been for us as parents. It is amazing to see how far he has come, from not wanting to be held, to cuddling with us on the couch while reading a book! He can say several words and is taking a few steps! WE JUST LOVE AND ADORE HIM!
