What an AMAZING time we had in Port Townsend! When we first arrived Derek said, "Happy, glad!" Our hotel was built in the 1800s, and our room was the size of our home. The weather was sunny the entire time we were there. We played at the park and threw rocks, shells, and crabs into the water. Though it was for business as well, it was the best vacation we have had since Derek was born. I'm so glad we were able to spend quality time together as a family!

Happy Birthday, Derek!!! I wonder what he wished for when he blew out his candles? He enjoyed spending his second birthday with his grandparents from California. He loves them so very much and was so sad when they all left...We are thankful for our son who brings us so much joy.

It is one day before our son's second birthday. What an amazing two years it has been! We can't believe that our "baby" is now a walking, talking toddler! We just can't get enough of him. Happy Birthday, Derek! We love you!!!

Happy New Year!!! Derek made it to midnight and is still sleeping this morning (11:04)!
