Derek had a wonderful time camping with his family at White River. When the tent was being put away, he yelled, "No!" He enjoyed ice cream during the 90 degree weather, hiking, and taking a much needed bath. (Notice the dark gray water!) He was the third one to use the water! Our weather was strange to say the least... it was super hot, then dropped to lower temperatures, followed by lightening and thunder! If you need advice for how to catch a mouse, let us know!

We are heading out tomorrow to camp with about 35 family members at Mount Rainier! We are so excited and whenever the "trip" is mentioned, Derek wants to leave right away!

The three of us went to the Pt. Defiance zoo today to experience the abundant animal life there! Derek has memorized the entire place and lets us know where he desires to go!

Derek decided He would celebrate the coming of August since July wasn't so great... He is definitely the joy of our life!
