I'm sorry it has been so long since I last wrote and posted pictures of our awesome son! We have been busy in the garden, watching our flowers grow. Derek enjoys pulling weeds and watering the plants whenever he can. His most favorite activity these days is trying to catch white butterflies. Nothing gets in his way... He has pure "tunnel vision" when he chases them!

Derek is talking up a storm and wants to know what everything is. He says (none-stop at times), "What's that, Mama?" And he wants to know the name of every type of car on the road. This will be "lots of fun" when we travel to CA beginning tomorrow after I return from work!!! We are visiting the area because my sister, Summer, will be getting married in my parent's backyard June 7! We are looking forward to this very special event. Pray Derek enjoys the drive as much as we do!

Derek loves to smell every flower in the neighborhood. He also wants to know their name. (I have to learn them first!) Speaking of "love," He said "I love you" yesterday when I came home from work... My heart melted! He is such an incredible kid whom we adore!
